Michael LoRusso : Vocals , Guitar , Piano, Mandolin , Harmonica, began his musical journey in the early 1970’s in the New York / New Jersey Metropolitan area band Moriah. The quartet became well known throughout the area playing in the club, college and coffee house circuit in Manhattan and New Jersey. After many years playing in the Northeast, Mike made the move south to Florida and started and fronted The Tracy-Steele Band which evolved into the Urban Blues Express. Drawing on his influences from Classic Rock, Blues, Reggae and Jazz, Mike has managed to come up with a unique blend of all of these genres and put a unique spin on all your favorite tunes in the Yellow Moon repertoire

Luis DeGregorio

Drums /Vocals

Luis De Gregorio:  A versatile drummer and percussionist joined the band 25 years ago and created with long time member and founder Mike LoRusso a unique musical chemistry that continues today. Influences include great drummers from the 70's and 80's such as Steve Gadd, Steve Jordan, Stewart Copeland and Neil Peart. As a versatile musician shifting from many styles comes naturally. The diverse musical influences and Luis' dynamic drumming drives Yellow Moons' eclectic style.

Tom Whyte

Bass Guitar / Vocals

Tom Whyte:  Tom Whyte is originally from Belfast Ireland from a strong musical family. He started out as a singer/songwriter there and moved to New York where he started playing bass. He moved back to the UK for 10 years recording and touring with several major pop and reggae acts. From there it was a jump to LA where he worked with several original rock acts while playing the top 40 club circuit both there and in Las Vegas. He moved again this time to New Orleans for 2 years playing Gospel and R&B before finally settling in South Florida 20 years ago where he has been working in the Yellow Moon Band

Skip Turner

Guitar /  Vocals

Skip Turner: Originally from Baltimore, MD, Skip's influences range from the great Jimi Hendrix, Carlos Santana, Steve Lukather, Billy Gibbons to Robben Ford and the legendary Miles Davis. Skip has done session work in the Minneapolis area during the Prince era of the early 1980s. He has also toured with blues legend Lucky Peterson during the early 1990s. Skip is a versatile and very talented musician that brings the Rock edge to  the band
